CURTIS MARTYN (2013) and LAURA MINCA (2012) two recent graduates of MA A+U appear in this selfie taken at the degree ceremony held at the Bridgewater Hall, Manchester, when in addition to their MA degrees they were presented with their Master of Architecture degrees.

GRADUATION

At a Congregation held today at the Whitworth Hall new graduates of the MA A+U received their degrees from the President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Manchester, Professor Dame Nancy Rothwell.

The Congregation was addressed by Professor Simon Guy of the Manchester Architecture Research Centre, and the graduands were presented by Professor Tom Jefferies, Head of the Manchester School of Architecture.

It was a special pleasure to see Gu Fang MA, Xiaoxue Bu MA, Xi Chen MA, and Shiyuan Qin MA who had all returned from China for the ceremony.

At dinner following the ceremony there assembled Curtis Martyn MA, Rebecca King MA, Hajir Alttahir MA, Xi Chen MA, Xiaoxue Bu MA, Shiyuan Qin MA and Justina Job MA.

Graduates of the MA Architecture + Urbanism were well represented at the Manchester School of Architecture Degree Ceremony held at the Whitworth Hall, University of Manchester today, many of them receiving double masters awards having also successfully completed their Master of Architecture (RIBA Part 2) professional degrees. Graduation

The first group of MA A+U 2012 graduates received their degrees today at a ceremony at the Whitworth Hall, University of Manchester. Ochuko Edewor, Ahlam Sharif, Eamonn Canniffe, Wanxin Wu, Professor Tom Jefferies and Yussur Al-Chokhdar are pictured after the ceremony.

The first trio of graduates of the 2010-11 MA A+U cohort received their degrees at a ceremony held in the Whitworth Hall at the University of Manchester on Monday 12 December. In his speech the Head of the School of Environment and Development Professor Simon Guy praised the excellent quality of the year's work, and wished them all well for their future careers in the UK and around the world.

Also on the dais and participating in the ceremony were Dr. Albena Yaneva, Head of the Manchester School of Architecture Professor Tom Jefferies, Dr. Leandro Minuchin and Dr. Isabelle Doucet

MA A+U graduates Parvinder Marwaha and Peteris Kokins received their degrees from the Chancellor of the University of Manchester Tom Bloxham MBE at a degree ceremony on Monday 11 July. Parvinder and Peteris were awarded Bachelor of Architecture degrees also.
