Burj Perspective

Plataforma Arquitectura posts some progress images on SOM's Burj Dubai, the well-known project that will be the tallest building in the world when it opens in 2009. To put some perspective on the progress, below is a photograph taken on March 30 next to a section with the corresponding progress marked, though it is approximate as I lost count after 99 floors and when my eyes strained from staring at the monitor. Needless to say there's still a ways to go; it looks to be a little over halfway done -- though not yet two-thirds -- with the concrete frame.
